Integration Hub

The Integration page is the hub where you connect every traffic source to ClickPatrol. It shows which channels are set up, gives you the UTM template or tracking code per channel, and is the entry point for your API token. If you are onboarding, this is the page to work through.

Where to find it#

Click Integration in the sidebar of your ClickPatrol dashboard. You land on the Overview tab.

The Overview tab#

The Overview shows a card per integration: Google Ads, GTM, Facebook, Conversion Tracking, Bing Ads, API Exclusion, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, DV360 and Custom Links. Click a card to jump to that integration.

In the header sits the Check Essentials button. It verifies that your website tag and other core settings are set up correctly, so run it after every setup change. At the bottom of the page you find shortcuts to the Knowledge Base and Contact Support.

The channel tabs#

Next to Overview, each integration has its own tab: Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta(fb/ig), Conversions, Bing Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, DV360 and Custom links. The channel tabs follow the same pattern: a banner reminding you to install the ClickPatrol tag through Google Tag Manager first, a short How It Works, and the copyable UTM template for that platform.

• Google Ads, including the tracking template and the Disconnect button on its tab
• Google Tag Manager, the tag every other channel builds on
• Meta, Bing Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and DV360
• Conversion tracking for the Conversions tab
• API tokens for the API Exclusion card

Good to know#

• Connected channels also appear under Traffic Sources on the Account Progress page, with a click count per source.
• Install the ClickPatrol tag through Google Tag Manager before you set up the UTM channels; the classification behind every channel depends on it.
