How to Remove ClickPatrol's Google Account Permissions

In Google Ads Troubleshooting · Updated (18 hours ago)

If you need to disconnect ClickPatrol from your Google account (whether you are switching accounts, troubleshooting a connection issue, or revoking access) you can do this directly from your Google Account settings. This removes ClickPatrol's ability to access your Google Ads data until you reconnect.

Step-by-step instructions#

    1. Go to myaccount.google.com and sign in with the Google account connected to ClickPatrol.
    2. In the left-hand menu, click Third-party apps and services.
      1. Locate ClickPatrol.com - Ads Connect in the list and click on it.
        1. Scroll down to "Delete all connections that you have with ClickPatrol.com - Ads Connect" and click the arrow to proceed.
          1. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Once complete, a confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen:

"You're no longer connected to ClickPatrol.com - Ads Connect. You can connect to ClickPatrol.com - Ads Connect again at any time."

ClickPatrol will no longer have access to your Google Ads data. Your ClickPatrol account and settings are not deleted, only the Google connection is removed.

            What access does ClickPatrol have?#

When connected, ClickPatrol - Ads Connect is granted the following permissions on your Google account:

            • Sign in with Google - See your profile info
            • Google Ads access - See, edit, create, and delete your Google Ads accounts and data

To reconnect ClickPatrol to your Google Ads account, return to the ClickPatrol dashboard and go through the Google Ads connection flow again. You will be prompted to grant permissions on the Google consent page.

Note: Removing the permission does not affect your ClickPatrol subscription or any stored data within ClickPatrol. It only removes Google's authorization for ClickPatrol to access your Ads account.
