Protecting Multiple Websites & Accounts

In Google Ads Troubleshooting · Updated (1 months ago)

ClickPatrol allows you to protect an unlimited number of websites and campaigns, but the setup depends on how your Google Ads accounts are structured.

Scenario 1: All campaigns in one Google Ads account#

If you manage all your different websites and campaigns within a single Google Ads account ID, the setup is instant.

  • Simply connect your Google Ads account to ClickPatrol.

  • Our system will automatically detect and protect all active campaigns and tracking templates within that account.

Scenario 2: Multiple Google Ads accounts (Manager Account/MCC)#

If you have separate Google Ads accounts for different websites or clients (often with different login credentials), you cannot connect them one by one. You must centralize them first using a Google Ads Manager Account (formerly known as MCC).

How to set this up:#

  1. Create a Manager Account: If you haven't already, set up a Google Ads Manager Account.

  2. Link your accounts: Add your individual Google Ads accounts as "Clients" under this new Manager Account.

  3. Connect to ClickPatrol: In the ClickPatrol dashboard, connect only the Manager Account (MCC).

Once connected, ClickPatrol will automatically recognize and protect all the sub-accounts linked to that Manager Account.
