Adding & Managing Multiple Accounts

In Platform Usage · Updated (1 months ago)

If you are an agency or freelancer managing fraud protection for multiple distinct clients, you don't need to create separate logins for each one. ClickPatrol allows you to create and manage multiple accounts under a single user profile.

Why use this feature?#

  • Centralized Access: One login for all your clients.
  • Data Isolation: Keep reporting and settings completely separate for each client.
  • Easy Switching: Toggle between clients instantly without logging out.

Prerequisites: Before You Start#

To successfully add new accounts, please ensure the following conditions are met:

  1. Main Owner Access: You must be logged in as the Main Owner (If you were invited to the dashboard by someone else, you will not see the option to add websites).
  2. MCC Connection: All accounts you wish to add must be connected to the same Google Ads MCC (My Client Center).
  3. Link Established: Your Google Ads MCC must be linked to your ClickPatrol account.

Adding a New Account#

Follow these steps to add and protect a new client or entity in your dashboard:

  1. Log in to your ClickPatrol dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the top right corner and click on your account name or profile icon to open the accounts overview.
  3. In the dropdown menu/overview, click the Add Website button (If you were invited to the dashboard by someone else, you will not see the option to add websites).
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter the client details and configure the account protection settings.
  5. Repeat this process for every individual account you wish to connect.

Once completed, the new account is active. ClickPatrol will begin monitoring and protecting it against fraudulent clicks and invalid traffic immediately.

How to Switch Between Accounts#

Once you have set up multiple accounts, you can switch between them easily:

  1. Click on your account name in the top right corner.
  2. You will see a list of connected accounts in the dropdown menu.
  3. Simply click the name of the client you wish to view. The dashboard will reload to show data specifically for that account.
